Schedule meetings and calendar events from  Jira Issues

We’re excited to announce a powerful new app and feature that allows you to schedule meetings directly from your Jira Service Desk (JSM) or during refinement meetings in your software project.

The Meetical for Jira App currently comes with two major features: Creating Meetings from Jira issues and Integration of the Meetical Calendar in Jira.

This integration works with both Google Calendar and Microsoft 365, streamlining the way your team collaborates and manages tasks.

1. Schedule Meetings Directly from Jira Service Desk (JSM) and Software Projects

With this feature, you can set up meetings with a single click during service desk requests or refinement sessions. With the Meetical Calendar Extensions for Google or Microsoft Calendar installed, you can create a Confluence page for the agenda and meetings notes.

2. Using the Meetical Calendar to in Jira to create Agendas and Meeting Notes

The second feature of Meetical for Jira is the integration of the Meetical Calendar directly in Jira. Please note, that this requires that you have the Meetical Calendar for Confluence installed. While Meetical for Jira is free, the Meetical for Confluence app is a paid app (free 30-day trial).

Basically you get a new Menu item which allows you to use the internal Meetical Calendar directly from Jira, without switching to Confluence.

Let's imagine you have a support ticket and want to quickly schedule a call with all approvers and request participants involved.

With Meetical for Jira and Confluence installed, you can create the meeting, and immediately add a Confluence page to define agenda and take action items and meeting notes.

  1. Meetical for Jira (free app)
  2. Chrome Extension for Confluence, also for Firefox and Safari, and as Outlook Add-in for Microsoft 365
