Meetical Software GmbH ("us", "we", "our", "Meetical") operates the Meetical Web App, the Meetical Confluence App, Browser Extensions, Microsoft Office Add-ins and the website meetical.io (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
You have the right to make a complaint at any time to your authority for data protection issues. We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach your data protection authority so please contact us in the first instance.
Data We Collect
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data: full name, user id
- Contact Data: email
- Profile Data: atlassian id, authorization tokens, settings (timezone, language preferences), software options (e.g. defaults settings);
- Usage Data: information on how our Service is accessed and used (IP address, browser type, browser version, pages visited etc.);
- User Data: URL of your confluence instance
- Marketing Data: marketing preferences, newsletter subscription.
- License Data: Any data your company provides us via Atlassian Marketplace (also see Terms of Atlassian Marketplace)
We only process, and do not store any data related to your calendar events, meetings and Confluence pages on our own database.
Tracking & Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

- apply for our services/install the extension;
- create an account on our website;
- subscribe to our service or publications;
- request marketing to be sent to you;

- Automated technologies: Cookies, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity
- From Atlassian Corporation Plc when you request a commercial or evaluation license.
Use of Data
Meetical uses the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To notify you about changes to our Service
- To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so
- To provide customer care and support
- To provide analysis or valuable information so that we can improve the Service
- To monitor the usage of the Service
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues
Marketing
You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or purchased services from us and you have not opted out of receiving that marketing. We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you.
We will get your express opt-in consent before we share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at any time.
Transfer Of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Switzerland and choose to provide information to us, please note that we might transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Switzerland and process it there.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Meetical will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

- Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.

Security Of Data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make substantial changes to this Privacy Policy, we will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective.Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

July 2020: Added LinkedIn as Marketing/Cookie provider to section "Disclosure of Data".
May 2022: Added Segement.io and Customer.io as Service Providers. Removed Microsoft Clarity.
March 2023: Removed attributes we no longer store in our database. We're now store/process license information from the Atlassian Marketplace. Added Hubspot as service provider.
April 2023: Added Amplitude as service provider.
